Best Teacher Gifts 2020 - thanking our teachers in the year we never saw coming
I actually can't believe that it's time to get organised and buy teacher gifts already, but it is. My calendar doesn't lie! This year has both been one of the longest of my life (thanks to what felt like 650 years of home schooling a highly active five year old in Melbourne) and has also flown by. He literally has three weeks left of school and while your kids might have a little longer before the end of term four depending on where you are, I wanted to help you out with some ideas for teacher gifts to save you some time!
Thanks to lockdown down here I actually haven't really been able to get to know my prep boy's teachers very well this year. I was just settling into being a school mum when we headed into the first lot of remote learning and since then have been dropping the boy off at the gate each morning and haven't built much of a relationship with his teacher. Can anyone else relate? Despite that though, what I do know is that his two teachers are kind, child-loving, passionate women who have done their best for my son and his classmates all year. I definitely want to let them know how grateful I am for their ability to adapt to the challenges 2020 threw at them.
I hope you find something helpful in the list I've put together as we celebrate the teachers who guided our kids from inside the classroom and over the computer for the craziest year we could have never imagined.
Here is a list of my favourite teacher gifts for 2020!
